Why are some or all of my mussels over-salted?

We have some situations where some mussels are a little saltier than others. This happens due to natural changes in the salt levels of the ocean. Since we do not add salt to any of our mussels, the natural saltiness of the ocean is all you will taste, but sometimes that can vary.
